Brian E. Faulkner: Public Television Narrator, Writer & Emmy Award Winner.
Brian is known for his clear documentary writing style and collaborative spirit when working with Public TV producers, shooters and editors. He has earned five Emmy awards for his work on North Carolina Public Television's Our State series, which first ran on UNC-TV beginning in 2003 and remains on-air. If you'd like to transform an ordinary standup or interview segment into an Emmy award-winning work of art, please give Brian a call. He's real easy to work with ...

The Our State series of Public Television programs, produced by North Carolina's UNC-TV, has won numerous Emmy awards. Each 30-minute program is a television adaptation of two or three articles from Our State magazine, a richly designed and much loved monthly that features stories about the people, culture and traditions of North Carolina. Our State TV segments explore historic homes in North Carolina, North Carolina artists and musicians, National Parks and State Parks in North Carolina and other memorable subjects. The program has been called UNC-TV's "jewel in the crown" because of local ratings comparable to PBS shows like Masterpiece Theater, NOVA and NATURE.
Brian's challenge (and pleasure) has been to adapt Our State magazine's unique style for Public Television through more than fifteen years on the air, including more than 120 compelling segments.
